1. "The guidance on managing the traceability system for production and marketing of agri-products" was announced.

2. An agriculture theme hall was set up in the 2006 Taipei International Invention Show and Technomart.

3. A forum was organized for the general managers from farmers’ associations in Taipei City, Yunlin County, Changhua County, Miaoli County, Taichung City and County, and Nantou County.

4. The Master Gardener project was formulated.

5. The project on the pig insurance was expanded.

6. A series of workshops was conducted to introduce the policy change from the guaranteed-price for the rice purchase program to the direct payment system.

7. The revision of the loan categories that are not qualified for application to the Agricultural Development Fund was promulgated. This will be effective 1 January 2007.

8. A press conference on the summer fruit and vegetable recipes was convened.

9. The temporary suspension on the collaboration with Somalia in fishery industry took effective.

10. "The regulation on issuance of export permits for salmon and trout merchandizes" was promulgated.

11. A series of activities was conducted to introduce the artwork related to forest trails and forest volunteers in the past decade.

12. "The regulation on the installment of monitoring systems on longline vessels of 20-100 tons and trawlers over 100 tons" was formulated.

13. The guaranteed price procurement of the first rice crop for 2006 was completed. In total, 170,691 tons of paddy rice was procured as public grains, and 1,052 tons of rice as damaged crops caused by natural disasters.
