1. The COA held the awarding ceremony for the 19th Outstanding Agriculture Expert Awards.

2. The COA established a National Fire Ant Control Center and conducted fire ant control seminars.

3. The COA participated in the 2004 Taipei International Travel Show, and sponsored the "Recreational Farming Hall," "Taiwan Specialty Products Hall," and the "Taiwan Agro-industry Industry Culture Hall."

4. The "Vital Taiwan, Healthy Dining - Agricultural Product Exhibition and Sales Promotion Activity" was held in the north and south plazas in front of the Office of the President on Ketagalan Boulevard.

5. The COA evaluated and granted awards to the 2004 GAP production-marketing teams and assistance units.

6. The COA organized the "Taiwanese Poultry Product Sales Delegation to Japan," and attended trade conferences in Osaka and Tokyo.

7. The COA enforced a tracking system for production, history, and accounting.

8. The new fishing boat fuel oil subsidy standards took effect on November 24th.

9. The COA revised the regulations of 6 financial loans. Local or nearby Farmers Bank of China, The Land Bank of Taiwan, and the Taiwan Cooperative Bank included in the list of banks that are allowed to process loan in areas where the local farmers' (fishermen's) association does not have a credit department (excluding farmers' associations whose credit departments have been taken over by a bank and currently do not have a credit department).

10. The COA conducted the 2004 Water and Soil Conservation and Revegetation Project Conference. 11. The COA conducted the Ten Best Waterfalls online vote. 12. The COA carried out quarantine inspection on ponkans, white pomelos, and grapes exported to Japan.
