1. Promulgated the Guidelines Governing the Planning and Implementation of Educational Institutions Taking Part in Council of Agriculture Special Agricultural Technology Projects.

2. Revised the Operational Guidelines Governing Dredging of Natural Waterways.

3. Held the Tour #9 series of events in Hualien and Taitung and the Sinshe Sea of Flowers.

4. Held promotional activities for Taiwanese fruit at the Shanghai Century Lianhua Supermarket, along with 14 other supermarkets and 20 hypermarkets including Carrefour in Mainland China.

5. Promulgated Operation Directions of Cattle and Bovine Fresh Products from Kinmen County Delivered to Taiwan and Control Measures of Sausages Made from Pork from Pigs Fed Distillers’ Grain from Kinmen County Delivered to Taiwan”.

6. Revised the Regulations on Management of Vaccine Types for HC and FMD Elimination.

7. Held an awards ceremony to honor the 10 highest achieving production and marketing groups.

9. During the fourth round of the Chiang-Chen agricultural negotiations, both sides signed “Cross-Strait Agreement on Cooperation in Fishing Crew Affairs” and the “Cross-Strait Agreement on Cooperation in Quarantine and Inspection of Agricultural Products.”

10. Collaborated with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the COA announced that in the Chia-Nan Irrigation Association 2010 first growing season crop rotation area irrigation would be suspended to 18,096 hectares of land, along with 911 hectares in the Baihe Reservoir area.

11. Held an event to announce the results of the 2009 Winery and Wine Evaluation and honored 12 outstanding wineries.
